DHS teams ‘boss’ the golf course
They almost beat their seasoned opponents with spectacular swings and perfect putting.
Various DHS learners took part in the golf league game hosted at Dundee Country Club last Friday. Ronnie Mulligan, Dylan Mare, Keagan Donaldson, Janco Kotze, Joshua Donaldson, Keaton von Rauenstein, Ewaldt Potgieter, Preston Caldecott, Caide Sharp, Koos Mdladla, Natalie MacTaggard, Tamarah Grierson and Hamish Grierson took part in this competition.
The organiser of the day, Sias Weyers of Newacastle High, found it noteworthy to mention that the DHS girls team showed immense potential with competitive scores on their first day of play! They almost beat their seasoned opponents with spectacular swings and perfect putting. The school hopes to see more of these girls soon. Keep up the good work!
DHS cricket
Die o/15s het VHS met 6 paaltjies gewen met Juandre wat die meeste lopies (35) aangeteken het. Die eerstes het met 41 lopies verloor teen VHS.
DHS tennis
The tennis has had an interesting season thus far. They lost against VHS but beat Sarel Cilliers in their most recent match.
