Egerton and Monument clash on the cricket pitch

The under 11 boys took to Agar Field in good spirits, knowing that a good game of cricket was going to be played

Egerton Primary School took on Monument Primary on Wednesday last week in a heated encounter on the cricket pitch.

The under 11 boys took to Agar Field on Wednesday afternoon in good spirits, knowing that a good game of cricket was going to be played.

Monument went in to bat first, with the Egerton bowlers working hard to take wickets. A few wickets did tumble in the early overs of the T20 match, but Monument managed to turn the game around and pull off a good win.

Parents and teachers were there to support the boys.

Fours, sixes and wickets was what the day was all about for the youngsters!
