On a freezing spring morning several hundred Drakensview Primary School Foundation Phase learners and many supporting parents braved the weather to participate in a Fun Athletics Day.

Every child chose two races to take part in – from pop-the-balloon, big shoe, dress up. What a lot of fun was had by everyone.

Every child was a winner on the day as the emphasis was on fun. The two most competitive races were the moms and dads races.

Grade threes participate in the fun activities.

The parents thundered down the field to the finish line to receive their sweet for participating. A big thank you to all the parents for supporting this fun-filled morning.
