APS learners have lots of fun at Grade R sports day
Parents and friends were there to support the little ones, and fellow pupils cheered madly as the athletes hurtled towards the finish line
Acaciavale Primary School (APS) held its Grade R sports day on Thursday morning at the school grounds.
Parents and friends were there to support the little ones, and fellow pupils cheered madly as the athletes hurtled towards the finish line in the hopes of claiming first, second or third place.
Aside from the usual track events, there were also novelty races such as the frog jump, sack race and many more.
A tuck shop quelled the hunger pangs and quenched people’s thirst.
It was a day enjoyed by the little ones, as well as the parents and educators.
