GymKid sets the bar at Ichthus
every learner received a medal and certificate of participation.
On Friday, November 17, the GymKid gymnastics programme hosted their awards day ceremony at Ichthus.
Parents, grandparents and friends watched in awe as the Grade R and RR gymnasts showed off their skills during their routine using the mini-trampoline, beam, bar, hoops and landing mats. At the end of the demonstration, every learner received a medal and certificate of participation.
The following learners were the winners of special awards:
Kuhlekonke Gumbi: Beam Routine (Boys)
Christelle Mukoka: Beam Routine (Girls)
Allimae Meyer: Mini-Trampoline
Andrew Theunissen: Bar (Boys)
Caitlyn Rotol: Bar (Girls)
Nkazimulo Selepe: Best improvement

Simphiwe Ncube: Best overall gymnast (Girls)
