Uelzen says farewell to Mr Raffenberg who is off to China

He set high standards during his 20 year tenure at Uelzen Primary

It was sad week at Uelzen Primary School when headmaster, Jorg Raffenberg, said his farewells after a highly successful 20 year stint at the school.  A man of integrity, Mr Raffenberg set high standards for himself and the school.  He has decided to embark on a new journey in his life by making the big move to China where he will teach at a school of well over 2500 pupils.

His farewell was a delightful albeit sad occasion with each Grade given the chance to present a sketch  depicting Mr Raffenberg’s life at the school and the new life which awaits him in China.
