Fun at mini cricket festival

Each child went home with a certificate, T-shirt, cap and medal

550 youngsters had a great time on Saturday morning (March 10) at the KFC Mini Cricket Festival that was held at Settlers Park.

Children from schools in Ladysmith, as well as other towns, gathered to enjoy some competitive sporting action. Aside from the run-chasing, wicket-taking and energetic fielding, the children also enjoyed making new friends and had fun playing in the sun.

After the matches, the participants were treated to a yummy lunch sponsored by KFC.

Each child went home with a certificate, T-shirt, cap and medal.

It certainly was a huge success and everyone who attended had a great time.
