Swimmers excel at Level 2 champs
They were Amy Gerber, Matthew Gerber, Sarah Byrne and Kara Fourie
Four Monument learners took part in the SA Level 2 swimming championships. The championships took place in Sasolberg from April 3 to 6.
A total of 850 learners took part from all over the country.
Of these, only four were from Ladysmith; all learners at Monument Primary School.
They were Amy Gerber, Matthew Gerber, Sarah Byrne and Kara Fourie.
Kara received one gold, one silver and a bronze medal for her excellent swimming.
The learners really were determined and did their best, making their school extremely proud of their efforts.
