Twnety Uelzen Primary swimmers participated in the annual Dundee Swimming Club Sprint Gala held on Saturday, 1 March at Dundee High School.  The gala is open to all swimming clubs in Northern KwaZulu Natal.  Uelzen is very proud of the achievements of all its swimmers who participated.  A big thank you to the Dundee Swimming Club on a well-organised and supported gala.  The following children received medals:  Duane and Eric Lauwrens, Philippa Lee, Michael van der Merwe, Nadia Raffenberg, Gabby Carter and Bryce Sharp.

We would also like to congratulate Ryan Will for achieving second place in shot put, javelin and discus at the Umzinyathi Athletics Meeting on Friday.

Well done to brothers, Zander and Deetlef Steyn for receiving gold medals at a Wrestling Tournament held in Glencoe over the weekend.
