Dynamic FedAuto is firing on all cylinders
The dealer scooped a host of awards at a recent event, again stamping its dominance.

The awards reaped by FedAuto are proof the company is firing on all cylinders.
Besides Tania Herbst, Sudhiel Pursadh and Phyllis Mostert earning themselves platinum status, a particularly difficult rating, four senior staff members reached the top echelons of their industry.
Now management is singing the praises of staff, for what they call a group achievement.
Sales executive, Tillie Kirkland said at the company’s awards evening recently, Gerrie Hugo was placed second in terms of the service department, while Nagesh Govender was voted best sales manager by customers.
Dealer principal, Allan Kirkland was also first in his respective category.
These men won trips to the Maldives, America and Alaska, while Mrs Kirkland received a vacation to Mauritius for earning the Chairman’s Award for the 16th consecutive year.
In fact, only one of FedAuto’s departments was not included in the winners’ circle.
“We won in almost every sector, which is especially good for a ‘rural’ dealer.”
Commenting on the annual growing success of the local franchise, Mrs Kirkland emphasised such accolades would not have been achieved without a dedicated team.
She said the low staff turnover meant employees had become friends. “We all joke, laugh and cry together,” she mused.
Mentioning her clinching of the Chairman’s Award, Mrs Kirkland commended her competent personal assistant, Mrs Herbst. For her efforts, Mrs Herbst will join her boss on a trip to Disneyland in Orlando in September.
“I offered her this to as a thank-you for the loyalty and service; I can’t be what I am without the staff.”
In addition to FedAuto’s continuing awards, the business was also invited to receive a ‘Dealer of the Year’ trophy from Wesbank, out of a host of other Ford dealers.
“This is the staff’s success, not an individual achievement.”
