All systems in place for cast-off
The first league will take place on October 19 at Sandford from Zones A to E.
Angling Professional League
With just two weeks to go to the cast-off, the management committee of the Angling Professional league (APL) has put all the systems in place and is ready for action. Interest in the league has been overwhelming, with many new and old faces making an appearance.
The APL begins with its first competition, the Champion of Champions on August 3 at Richgate Park in Zones 2, 3 or 4, which would give the management committee a bench mark to form the proposed teams to compete in the league.
The aim of the APL this season is to integrate anglers from various clubs, as well as the general public, which would encourage stiff competition and promote a sense of camaraderie.
The first league will take place on October 19 at Sandford from Zones A to E. Anglers are at liberty to fish anywhere in these zones.
Application forms for the APL can be obtained from Midas Spares, Mr Omar, or interested anglers can contact Kidd Rampersadh on 084 6008 333, Terence Chetty on 072 786 0866, or Monty Slabbert on 082 391 6324 for more information.
