Police parade awards members for years of service
Colonel F. Alexander opened the parade and thanked the officials for their continuous dedication to the police force in difficult circumstances.
The SAPS held a Cluster medal parade at the Arbor Park Sports Grounds on Tuesday March 15.
Members of the Amajuba District SAPS were awarded medals for 10 years, 20 years and 30 years of service. They were acknowledged and commended for their loyalty to their profession.
Colonel F. Alexander opened the parade and thanked the officials for their continuous dedication to the police force in difficult circumstances.
“Even though we are in the midst of police killings, these men and women selflessly dedicate their lives and continue to do their jobs, serve their communities and ensure their safety,” he said.
Lizzy Arumugam from Newcastle Corporate Communications also congratulated the officials.
” I want to thank the officials for not only their service, but for their dedication towards the SAPS,” she said.
