Derek Dicks and Associates, financial advisors for Old Mutual, recently hosted both a dinner and a breakfast for many of their clients at Tramonto Boutique Hotel.
The guest speaker at these events was Johann Els, an economist working for Old Mutual Investment Group in Cape Town. Mr Els brought an insightful commentary into the state of the South African and the world economy, and helped put recent market volatility into perspective. Clients were also addressed by Derek Dicks, and his associates, Kelvin and Lauren Lamberti.
Mr Dicks encouraged clients to keep a long term view on investing and Mr Lamberti provided information on the Old Mutual Tax Free Savings Account, encouraging all to maximise their annual tax free allowance.
An enjoyable evening and morning was had by all.
