A deep hole at the corner of Ntabamhlophe Road and Jannie de Waal Avenue has been lying open for weeks.

Repairs to a water pipe have been left incomplete and the nearly two meter deep hole is an accident waiting to happen.

This area is also frequented by young children from the primary school across the road.

“It is poorly marked and is a danger to children from the school as well as vehicles, especially at night. I am sure it will only be repaired once someone is injured or killed as a result of this negligence,” commented a resident.
