Family issues
Any problem which affects the family will directly have an impact on your teenager. A sick family member, unreasonable expectations and even divorce are a few of the factors that can affect teens.

Financial stress
Lots of people think money is only an adult’s worry, but a financial issue can stress teens out more because there isn’t much they can do to help. In a case like this let your teen know about it, but don’t burden them with all the details.

Traumatic events
Dealing with traumatic events like accidents, sickness or death of a close family member or a friend or a case of physical or mental abuse can have a very severe impact on children. Death can create a sense of loss and fear of losing everyone and everything, adding stress to the pain. Sometimes, breaking up with a romantic partner can also be traumatic for young adults. It is always a good idea to keep an eye on your teenager in any such events.

Poor self-esteem
Teenagers have a lot of questions and doubts about the different emotions and physical changes they go through. Self-doubt or poor self-esteem is the worst so keep in mind how you treat your child.
