Attention! dress code alert

What one perceive as stylish and sexy outfits, it may not be appropriate to others.

Summer is the most overwhelming season with cooler activities to indulge in. Fashion has also become one of the aspect people look forward too during this time. Long pants are converted to shorts or mini-skirts. Polo necks become crop tops.

What seem to be disturbing though is that some people consider certain clothing items to be  not suitable for others. Shouldn’t people feel comfortable in anything they choose to wear despite having to consider what other people think? Are our role models also playing a huge role in what we perceive suitable and not suitable to wear?

What has been disturbing these days is the way young people perceive fashion as being a platform to express oneself in any way they like. Whilst we are all guided by our norms and values at the same time we have to acknowledge individuals beliefs.

So the question is  do we accept that people are different and will do anything that feels right to them irrespective of what we think. Do we have to accept everything conducted through believing that its fashionable and let people dress how they like and be free of not being judged? But again where does one draw the line as to what is acceptable and not acceptable?

What are your views on this let us hear from you. We might learn from each other.
