VANDERBIJLPARK. – The CPSF and Sector manager of sector 1 which is CW area have out-done themselves by hosting a human chain awareness against drugs in the Becquerel street in their area.
The event was a huge success as there was a total of 250 people who supported the event, and made it a huge success.
The police thanked everyone who supported the event. They also thanked the sponsors of the event. The police also applaud the Sector 1 community patrollers, community and sector manager Capt. Lizette Robertson, for making sure that the event was a huge success. The community that was present pledged to make the area a drug free zone they are saying enough is enough. After the event itself they started patrolling their area and stopped and searched everyone who was moving around their sector.
The police thanked the community of CW area ( Sector 1) for their dedication in making their sector safe and secure.
The police also gave special thanks to the Oliver lodge head boy and head girl who are Katleho Mogokeng and Khutlemano Moreletse for sealing the pledge for them.
The media was also thanked for always advertising the project to the community.
