Gymnasts of Parys 20 Four 7 trampoline club are gearing up for the Free State provincial championships, set to take place in Bloemfontein on August 30. Throughout the year, the club has showcased impressive skills at two competitions, earning a remarkable total of 134 medals.

A total of 26 gymnasts from Level 1-3 have qualified for the provincials, alongside 16 Level 4+ gymnasts who have also secured their spots.

The club is eagerly anticipating the provincial championships, as the top-performing Level 4+ gymnasts will go on to compete in the SA National Gymnastics Championship during October at Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth.

One of the club’s standout athletes, Damian Jordaan, recently competed in the second trials for the World Age Group Trampoline Championships, scheduled for Spain later this year. The club is awaiting confirmation on whether Damian has made the team.
