Hospital personnel participate in Health Day

This initiative was welcomed with positive feedback.

Senior personnel of Parys District Hospital met with the public this past weekend at another successful Rotary Family Health Day. It was the first time senior personnel of the hospital took part in the day interacting with the public. This initiative was welcomed
with positive feedback.

anyone can be facedwith a crisis situation at home or work.

According to the hospital CEO Me Malinga, the need for a CT scan at the hospital was mentioned by members of the community, and although the hospital as a Level 1 hospital cannot offer a CT scan service, she took note of the public’s suggestions and requests.

Comserv dentists and the Comserv Rehabilitation team of the Parys District Hospital gave advise and information to the public on the day. About twelve free dental examinations were done and people were reminded that dental services of the Department of Health is available Mondays to Fridays.
