No increase in licence renewal fees for 2026 for FS liquor traders

Take note of the scheduled licence renewal visits

The Free State Gambling, Liquor, and Tourism Authority (FSGLTA) confirmed that there is no increase in liquor license renewal fees for 2026.

Traders will pay the same amounts as they did in 2025, subject to no objections or formal objections lodged 21 days from December 5, 2025.

For licence renewals, traders will need the following documents:

o 2025 liquor license renewal certificate.
o Proof of payment for 2026 renewal.
o Tax clearance and CIPC certificate, if registration is held by a company.

Please ensure you bring the required documents to streamline the renewal process.

License Renewal Visits:

The FSGLTA Fezile Dabi Office will visit the following areas to assist with liquor license renewals:
o Maokeng SAPS: 20th & 21st January 2026 (09h00 to 16h00)
o Zamdela SAPS: 27th & 28th January 2026 (09h00 to 16h00)
o Mafube SAPS: 06th & 07th February 2026 (09h00 to 16h00)

NB: Liquor License Renewal Services are now available at FSGLTA offices from (08:00 to 16:30)
