The Ikageng police are investigating a murder case after a body of a 50-year-old man, Petrus Mathulela was found dumped inside a water canal near Ext. 6 on Saturday morning.
According to Sgt Kelebogile Trom, the police spokesperson, the police rushed to the scene at about 07:30 after receiving a call from a passer-by and discovered a man inside the water canal. ‘He had injuries on his hand, face and mouth,’ reported Trom.
The late Petrus was a resident of Baipei Ext. 11.
At this stage, no one has been arrested.
