Linden Bowling Club donates pet food to SPCA

Local bowlers saw their donations go toward a good cause when R1 000 was put towards pet food for the Randburg SPCA.

Linden Bowling Club made the donation of several bags of pet food after their recent tournaments resulted in the income.

“I am glad to see how well the animals are looked after,” said greenkeeper Nicholas Hwala, after his very first visit to the SPCA.

Lynne van Zyl, who was also at the handover, said the donation shows that they are not just a bowling club, but an active part of the community.
