Lekker braai day for all

The Sundowner Residents Association’s (SRA) braai day, in celebration of the culmination of a great year, took place on 9 November.

The association held the event to give the community an opportunity to spend time together and to encourage involvement in the suburb’s improvement.

“The work done in Sundowner is not only the responsibility of the SRA committee, therefore it is good for the community to understand what goes on behind the scenes,” explained SRA chairman Mark Klinkert.

The Sundowner community said it prides itself in knowing their neighbours which helps to prevent crime and creates a united community.

Klinkerk said the association is very thankful to the police as well as their security company for their assistance. “The braai was a definite success, it was great to see so many residents there, it had a relaxed, happy vibe and the children enjoyed themselves.”
