Nursery outreach

Nursery schools from Ivory Park had a Christmas party at St Stithians College in Randburg.

St Stithians College hosted a party for several nursery schools from Ivory Park.

The college has hosted a party for the past 13 years and it is part of its outreach project. Project organiser Shelly Bunch said, “The grade 3 to 7 boys each selected a nursery school which became part of their teams. The teams then participated in different outdoor activities.”

The five nursery schools selected were Nehemiah Nursery School, Kanana Nursery School, Phomolong Nursery School, Klipfontein Nursery School and Mission House School. Mike Hughes of the Brazilian Soccer Club brought his team of players to teach the children how to play soccer.

“We love to do this and it is great fun for the children,” said Bunch. “This is our way of giving back to the community.”
