Ferndale’s tribute

Ferndale Residents Associatio (FRA) chariman Conrad Fick thanks the committe for hard work and dedication.

Ferndale Residents Association paid special tribute to two members who have always been of great assistance to their association and the Randburg Community Policing Forum.

“We thank Dieter Wustrow who had been a CPF committee member for many years. He was truly dedicated to the forum. We also thank co-owner of Bright Water Commons Pick n Pay Mossie Miltiadou who has always taken part in our functions,” said the association’s chairman Conrad Fick.

Wustrow was one of the first members when the forum started. Delivering newsletters and dealing with residents’ queries was part of his role as a street captain.

Fighting crime was Wustrow’s main focus. For many years he took part in various crime prevention programmes in Randburg and worked very closely with the Randburg police.

“He has now moved to another suburb. We are going to miss working with Wustrow. He and his wife will always be welcome to attend our meetings.”

Fick said Miltiadou had always sponsored their events and functions.
