Blessings from Honeydew police

HONEYDEW - The Honeydew Police Station wishes the community a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Honeydew Police Station Commander Brigadier Wayne Sirkot said, “I would like to thank the community, the sector crime forums and the Community Policing Forum for their assistance in the fight against crime. The police will stand strong in their efforts to apprehend criminals.

“We want to assure the community who are going on holiday, as well as the residents who will be at home, that we will do everything in our power to eradicate crime during the festive season.”

He said there would be an increase in visible policing through joint multi-disciplinary operations. “Although you might be inconvenienced by road blocks, vehicle check points and stop-and-search operations, I appeal to the community to support and co-operate with the law enforcement agencies,” he said. “Together we can make South Africa more safe and secure.”
