A local company gives back to the community where most of their employees are from.
O’Keeffe & Swartz, an insurance company based in the heart of Randburg, is all about changing the lives of ordinary South Africans.
A large number of its employees live in Soweto and this was the reason why the company found it beneficial to give back to a school in Soweto.
Back to school goodies and groceries worth R13 000 were handed to the Othandweni Children’s Home including a cheque for R10 000. This was to ensure that they had a great start to the year.
”We wanted to change the lives of the less fortunate children at the orphanage which cares for abused and abandoned children. Fun and games was the order of the day coupled with a braai and a party pack,” said Thandie Zuma marketing administrator at then company.
