Service delivery in the spotlight
Service delivery issues will finally be tackled in Zandspruit on the 6 and 7 March.
The Public Awareness Service Delivery roadshow for Ward 114 will take place on 6 and 7 March and all Zandspruit residents are invited to attend.
According to community development worker, Mtheth’uvumile Gqongo the roadshows have been taking place across the country, and allow residents a chance to speak out about issues relating to their community and address service delivery problems.
“Stakeholders who are a link between community and government will be present at these meetings,” explained Gqongo.
“This includes social workers, the Department of Labour, the National Youth Development Agency, the Department of Home Affairs, the South African Social Security Agency, the police and non-governmental organisations.”
Gqongo said people could contact him should they need more information. “People should bring necessary documents with them which will assist them in solving any problems they have.”
