Food and more for SPCA pets
The staff of Rawson Properties stopped at the Randburg Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals for a totally different kind of business.
On 19 February the Randburg Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) in North Riding got a boost when a few yellow cars parked outside the premises.
Staff members from four branches of Rawson Properties came to donate food and other essentials. They also spent time with the animals.
Some of them also adopted a pet. Staff from the branches of Randpark Ridge, Weltevreden Park, Northcliff and Wilgeheuwel paid the SPCA a visit.
Kim Crawford from Rawson Properties said 200 kilogram was delivered, which included puppy food, dog food and cat food. The SPCA got leashes, bowls and blankets.
One of the Rawson Properties employees Colin van der Westhuizen took one of the dogs for a walk.
Crawford said that wanted to support an organisation that does a lot of good for the community.
