Robin acres residents warned about upcoming water pipe upgrades

The residents of Robin Acres are warned that there will be water pipe upgrades to commence at the beginning of April.

The upgrading project is expected to take eight months during which, old water pipes and fire hydrants will replaced. The ward councillor warned that the upgrade might cause water interruptions and trenches will also be built during the course of the developments.Ward 99 councillor Bruce Herbert said, “There will be slight interruptions especially water interruptions but residents should bear with us because this is for the greater good.” This new development is part of a bigger plan by the councillor to repair the aging ward and to beautify it. R 60 million has been allocated for these developments.
