SPCA receives a special delivery
RANDBURG – Louise Carver brings huge food donation to SPCA.
Randburg SPCA received a special delivery on 26 May when Louise Carver (Randburg SPCA Ambassador), came to handover R5 000 worth of dog food from Montego Pet Nutrition.
“We’ve come here today to make this fantastic donation in order to promote Montego’s national search for South Africa’s most ‘Heroic Tails’,” said an excited Carver. “We’re hoping to find South Africa’s bravest pets and I will be judging the completion.”
Montego Pet Nutrition is currently on the hunt for the kind of hound that takes hold of a challenge, and never lets go; for a dog with an overabundance of honour, skill, heroism, loyalty or bravery.
“Working with the SPCA is a genuine excitement for me,” Carver continues. “I tend to get quite emotionally involved. If I wasn’t in the music business, I would definitely be working with animals or in conservation agencies like Green Peace. That’s where my heart is.”
