Knitted with love
VANDIA GARDENS – Residents’ Association make sure those in need are a little warmer this winter.
The Domestic Watch of Vandia Gardens Resident’s Association (VGRA) recently knitted blankets which were donated to the Randburg Police Trauma Centre on 9 July.
The watch, headed by Dianne McCarthy from the VGRA, is held in high regard by their local community for the pivotal part they play in keeping the area safe and keeping crime to a bare minimum.
Ward 104 councillor, Mike Wood, has commended the group for their vigilant efforts by saying that “these ladies do amazing work and have made a big difference in the lives of residents living in the Vandia Gardens area.”
