The Ann Harding Cheshire Home for the physically disabled were spoiled recently when the U15 cricket team of St Stithians College came to spruce up the home’s palisade fencing.
“What I admire is their perseverance,” said Lindell Roman, a regular volunteer at the home. “It’s a daunting job to paint a fence this long and they did it with sheer enthusiasm.”
Roman also extended her gratitude to Prominent Paints, who not only donated 200 litres of paint, but their marketing team also painted the primer on before the cricket team could do the painting. “They have been great supporters of the home for many years,” she said.
“Our shop in Blairgowrie also donated the brushes and solvents used to apply the primer,” continued Ronald Kaviza, the representative from Prominent Paints head office.
