Teddy Bear clinic softens bikers
Malanshof - The Teddy Bear Clinic brings all bikers and visitors to the Diggers Rugby Club to raise funds and awareness.
A fundraiser for The Teddy Bear Clinic was hosted by the Diggers Rugby Club on 8 November.
Hordes of Harley Davidson riders and supporters flocked to the rugby club.
The clinic was established in 1986 for abused and abandoned children– a safe place where such children can be protected and rehabilitated.
Not only does the clinic specialise in children but also works with the parents and the community at large in order to educate and spread awareness for the end of child abuse.
The event was a great success with many stalls and food markets showing their support.
Many visitors gathered in the tent where they could enjoy live music by none other than ‘Elvis Presley’ himself. Many of the biking clubs donated lots to the cause while encouraging others to match the amount or higher.
