Good-bye, Frankie and Permithias
LINDEN – 'Big Brother Africa’s' Frankie reveals the reasons for his divorce and Permithias tells of his bash with insanity in the house.
Rwanda’s Frankie and Namibia’s Permithias bowed out of Big Brother Africa Hotshots competition from a house situated in Linden on 9 November.
Tears dropped, hearts ached but there was also a sense of happiness for the two evicted housemates.
“I am happy I don’t have to worry about the cameras, I feel good,” said Frankie.
Permithias, on the other hand, found a way to turn his eviction into a joke, adding a little bit of fun to their saddening departure.
“I am relieved because there are things I couldn’t do on camera that I have an opportunity of doing now… that house is tormenting, your mind goes crazy. Trust me, you start talking to yourself,” he said.
Frankie is proud to have represented his country on its first time on the show.
“I think we represented the country well in a way that was mature and interesting.
It may be surprising for some, but Frankie said he will not really miss Ellah and Goetsi.
“I liked Ellah but she seemed as if she wasn’t interested so I changed my mind and moved on. I don’t think I will miss her that much. Goetsi was really cute and I might miss her just a little,” he said.
Frankie also revealed to Africa that he won’t miss anyone because “every person in that house except for my homeboy and Permithias were fakers.”
The Rwandan is in the middle of a divorce, ending a four-year marriage. He said his career got in the way of the couple’s happiness.
“My ex is a beautiful, intelligent, charismatic… woman who gave me a beautiful son, but after being together we noticed we wanted different things… my career means I travel a lot so sometimes she would support me and sometimes she wouldn’t,” he said.

Permithias’s eviction means it is game over for Namibia.
“To find amusement in the house is very hard and when it came I accepted it for what it was,” he said, defending his actions that some viewers may have found distasteful.
“You never know who is playing who so someone might seem interested when, maybe, it is part of their game plan.”
Permithias thinks he represented his country well.
As a chef by profession and musician by occupation, he loves making and eating pap and vleis.
