BryanFern RA logs municipal issues
FERNDALE – BryanFern residents association walk around their area with Ward Councillor 104 Mike Wood.
Members of BryanFern Resident’s Association (RA) walked through their suburb on 24 January, in order to address issues affecting their surroundings.
The BryanFern RA works with many initiatives around their area.
The association combines Bryanston and Ferndale.
One of their initiative are recycling, with NviroAssist.
It was started to make recycling easy for homes, offices and schools by offering a reliable recycling collection service.
The committee engaged with CSS Tactical, to tackle security problems in their area.
CSS Tactical supported their approach to security and together they launched the Ring of Steel for our area – an invisible boarder that signifies a zero tolerance for crime.
By increasing the number of subscribers, they will have access to more vehicles and security cameras.
Ward Councillor 104 Mike Wood encouraged the participation of all residents to join their local RAs in order to tackle problems from the ground up.
Some of the problems that were seen in the BryanFern area were that of overgrown shrubs and weeds that create cracks in the pavements.
Problems that were found that the RA cannot fix themselves will be logged with the relevant municipal institution.
