20 Meat World competition winners collected their new cars on October 17, following the final draw of the Meat Your New Wheels car campaign.

Honeydew resident Joshen Indarjee was the first winner announced after spending more than R500 over three separate occasions since the competition began.
“I actually thought it was a spam call and someone was trying to sell me something, or that it was a prank,” Indarjee said.
“I have so many friends that like pranking me, but once I heard the lady from Jacaranda ask if I joined the competition, it made sense, but I was in shock.

“You know people rarely ever win these competitions, it is like a needle in a haystack, but I guess you can say I am God’s favourite.”
He shared much appreciation to Meat World, highlighting that the car came at the perfect time, as he needed a fuel-efficient car given the current state of the economy.
