On behalf of the Randburg Community Policing Forum (CPF) I would like to offer you our heartfelt thanks for all the support you have given the Randburg Trauma Centre.

Businesses and individuals have come forward with offers of help, which we gratefully accept!

It would seem that members of the public do not know much about the Trauma Centre, which offers a vital service to the Randburg community and beyond.

Highly trained volunteers are available 24/7 to offer love, compassion and physical support to those who have been traumatised by crime.

These angels are called out at all hours, and they go to assist willingly.

Victims of child abuse, rape, robbery – they are all given the Trauma Centre’s full attention.

Families of the victims are also counselled.

Thanks to the Randburg Sun, we have been getting calls throughout our area from people interested in becoming volunteers. The training is tough and extensive, and not everyone makes it, but we are open to anyone who has a genuine need to serve those in need of comfort.
