Armed men flee with watches and perfumes worth R250 000

BRYANSTON– Police are investigating the case of business breaking after culprits flee with goods worth R250 000.

As early as 5am on 7 June at least seven culprits allegedly broke into the jewellery store, Cabouchon, and Edgars Red Square at the Nicolway shopping centre.

They were apparently driving a silver Audi with no registration number and red Ford Focus. They allegedly fled with two Omega watches valued at R150 000 from the jewellery store and perfumes from Edgars worth R100 000. According to Randburg SAPS spokesperson, Constable Stanley Bopape, the CCTV footage showed that two of the culprits were armed with pistols. “We are investigating a case of business breaking,” he said.
