A young man was found stabbed and bleeding on a pavement on the corner of Church and Post Office streets in Joburg North at 6.10pm on 13 July.
According to Douglasdale SAPS spokesperson Warrant Officer Balan Muthan, a case of assault with grievous bodily harm has been laid at the police station. WO Muthan added that the man was found on the street with a stab wound to the left part of his head.
Neighbourhood Watch Sector 1 Douglasdale CPF and Netcare 911 were on scene to treat the patient. He has since been taken to Helen Joseph Hospital for treatment.
WO Muthan confirmed that there are no suspects or arrests at the time.
