Renew your licence to ride
RANDBURG – Spice up your windscreen with a new car registration disk.
Residents can renew their vehicle registrations at post offices associated with the South African Post Office around Randburg. Here is a list of post offices in the Randburg area that provides registration renewals:

- Honeydew (011 795 2812)
- Linden (011 787 9729)
- Cresta (011 476 3916)
- Randburg West (inside Brightwater Commons) (011 326 0873)
- Northgate (011 795 3604)
Besides the Linden and Bromhof post offices, post offices open from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays. On Wednesdays, the offices open at 9am to 4.30pm and are open on Saturdays from 8am until 12am.
Linden post office is open from 8.30am until 5.30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. On Wednesdays, the office opens at 9am and closes at 5.30pm and is open on Saturday from 8am to 1pm.
Bromhof office is open from 8am to 5pm on weekdays besides Wednesday, which opens at 9am instead of 8am. On Saturdays, the office opens at 8am until 1pm and is open from 9am until 12pm on Sundays.
To renew your registration you need to fill out an application for licensing of vehicle (ALV) form, provide proof of residence in the form of a Telkom account or utility bill among others, and a certified copy of your identity document. The registration fee is based on the type of car.
