Emergency water shutdown in Randburg suburbs
RANDBURG - A water outage is expected in various suburbs as Joburg Water repairs a pipe.
Joburg Water has informed residents of an emergency water shutdown on 6 June in Boskruin.
Areas that will be affected by the shutdown include Boskruin, Hunters Hill and Randpark Ridge ext 53 and 54.
The water supply will be cut off between 6am and 8pm, and restoration will take place between 8pm and midnight. Residents will be without water for the entire period.
Water tanks will be stationed at the following intersections:
- Thrush Avenue and CR Swart Drive
- Kowie Road and Kelly Avenue
- Swaeltjie Road and Kelly Avenue
- Sylvan Road and Kelly Avenue
- Elnita Avenue and Drysdale Road
- Patrys Road and Kowie Road
