Forbes has released the top 12 highest paid authors. Among the greats are; James Patterson, Jess Kinnery, J.K. Rowling, Stephen King, Danielle Steel, Nora Roberts, E.L. James, Veronica Roth, John Green, Paula Hawkins, George R.R. Martin, Rick Riordan, Dan Brown.
Like most of the iconic authors mentioned here, the movie rights to their books created a whole new fan base. Here are the top five authors:
