Water interruptions in Bloubosrand

BLOUBOSRAND - Water tanks will be available across the neighbourhood.

Joburg Water (JW) has announced that it will implement planned water interruptions due to maintenance in the suburb on 15 September.

According to then-spokesperson for JW, Eleanor Mavimbela, many streets in the suburb will be affected from 8am on Thursday morning until 5pm that evening. Residents can expect the water to be restored between 5pm and 8pm.

Mavimbela said the interruption is planned due to the installation of a water pressure reducing valve in Drommedaris Avenue.

“Water tanks will be available at clinics, schools and shopping centres,” Mavimbela said.
