Marlena Potgieter from Orion College is Miss SA Schools finalist
RANDPARK RIDGE – Marlena became the Teen Face of Gauteng for Jenni Gault International Jewellery when she was 14 years old.
Marlena Potgieter who is a Miss SA Schools finalist from Orion College only started out in beauty pageants to boost her confidence.
The 16-year-old is the college’s ambassador and recently visited the Ikageng Community Centre in Soweto with the school’s principal, Louis Buitendag to distribute sponsored products.
According to her proud mother, Serean Potgieter, her daughter aspired to achieve her best as well as to help the less fortunate.
“She is one of the softest and caring hearts I know. The people she meets always say she is absolutely gorgeous on the outside but her inside is pure beauty,” said Serean.
She will be competing in the final round of the competition on 8 October and hopes to continue doing charity pageants.
According to her mother, Marlena became the Teen Face of Gauteng for Jenni Gault International Jewellery when she was only 14 years old and she still holds this title.
“We are a very blessed family to have such an amazing young lady in your lives,” concluded Serean.
