Resident shot dead in Fontainebleau

FONTAINEBLEAU – A resident is shot in the head in his apartment.

A resident was found murdered in Fontainebleau on the morning of 21 December.

Gauteng Police spokesperson Kay Makhubela confirmed that the 37-year-old man’s brother found him sitting in his apartment near the corner of Martha Road and Rabie Street, with a bullet wound to his head, and also a plastic bag over his head.

A 9mm cartridge was found on the living room floor.

“We have not made any arrests yet and encourage anyone who knows anything about the incident to come forward, they can call us on 10 111” said Makhubela.

A case of murder has been opened at Linden Police station, and police are investigating the incident. The gun has also not been recovered.
