Round Table seeks used spectacle frames

The Round Table organisation, along with Caxton Joburg North’s Weltevreden Park office, has joined forces to collect spectacle frames for the less fortunate.

To collect as many frames possible the two entities are enlisting the help of the community. They ask that you donate your old frames for a good cause, to aid those who cannot afford to purchase them. Along with this plea, they also ask that any optometrists offer their services free of charge.

Tertius van Vuuren, Round Table Organisation’s chairman said this initiative was put together to help distribute used spectacles with the aim of giving them to those who really need the assistance. He said he is happy to help collect these frames and try to make a difference in peoples lives.

If you want to donate your used frames you can drop them off at the Caxton offices in Weltevreden Park, 1187 Cornelius Street.
