Distinctions galore at Aurora

SUNDOWNER – "It has been a lot of hard work building up to the exams, but I think the effort that I put in really paid off."

Two Curro Aurora High School achievers, who each received seven distinctions, have an exciting future ahead of them.

Brenton Budler and Dylan Evans received seven distinctions after the Independent Examinations Board released their Matric results on Wednesday 3 January.

Budler plans to study for a degree in Engineering Science in Digital Arts at the University of the Witwatersrand this year.

He said, “I am really excited to study Engineering Science, and with it, I am aiming to move into the field of gaming systems development.

My time at Curro has been amazing, and I am going to miss all my friends… but I promise to keep in touch with them in the future.”

Budler has been at Curro Aroura since leaving Trinity House when he was in grade nine.

Dylan Evans will study Actuarial Sciences at the University of the Witwatersrand after obtaining seven distinctions.

Evans has been awarded a scholarship to study Actuarial Sciences at the University of the Witwatersrand.

He said, “It has been a lot of hard work building up to the exams, but I think the effort that I put in really paid off.”

Both Budler and Evans said they spent the holidays relaxing and working at the same time to contribute to their future university fees.
