Honeydew police officers are on the hunt for three suspects following a house robbery in Cosmo City Ext 4 on 24 January.
According to the spokesperson for Honeydew Police Station, Captain Balan Muthan, the suspects entered the residence at 9pm and allegedly pointed a firearm at the owner of the house.
“Two of the suspects were armed while the third suspect had a knife. They [allegedly] used their weapons to threaten the complainant and proceeded to ransack the house looking for valuable goods,” said Muthan.
Although the suspects did not fire a single shot, they stole three watches and four cellphones as well as money.
Community members are urged to come forward if they have any information regarding the suspects.
