Two St Stithians Boys College learners did their school proud in sports tournaments.
Josh Elliott represented South Africa in the World Indoor Cricket Championship. South Africa played against India, Sri Lanka, England, Australia and New Zealand.
They met New Zealand in the semi-finals and won by 50 runs but lost to Australia in the final by 24 runs thus receiving silver medals.
In squash, three St Stithians boys, Cameron O’ Grady, Dylan Robertson and Tristen Mathews participated in the Gauteng squash tournament.
While Dylan and Tristen did very well in the U16 age group, it was Cameron who earned the title of the new Gauteng champion.
